Online masterclass with Danish Crown – Combating climate change with Science Based Targets & ESG (In English)

Introduction

The fight against climate change is a key element of Danish Crown’s business and sustainability strategy. In September 2021 the company committed to setting near-term targets with the Science Based Targets initiative. Danish Crown submitted the targets to the SBTi in July 2022 and the targets were approved in November 2022.

Learning outcomes

• On this masterclass, we are invited into the engine room at Danish Crown. We are handed over experience and know-how from the work of:
  • mapping all significant emissions throughout the value chain in Scope 1, 2 and 3
  • setting near-term science-based targets (SBTs) and validating climate data in a new data setup
  • ensuring systematic and regular reporting and monitoring of all ESG data
